Introduction
The users page is where you can view and edit accounts for people given access to the Paytronix back end. Through this page you can also edit users store and web permissions although there are direct links for this in the leftnav. To view a users information click on the magnifying glass next to their account. Each user has the following fields:
| ID | A unique user ID generated by Paytronix. This field is not editable. |
| User Type | Either Merchant or B2B. Merchant is used for people. B2B is used for SOAP interfaces into the Paytronix system. |
| Status | There are three options: Active, Inactive, Terminated. Active means the user is allowed access to the system. Inactive means the user in not allowed access at the moment, but their account can be set back to active. If a user provides the wrong password six times in a row their account will be set to inactive. Terminated means the user is not allowed access to the system and cannot be set back to active. |
| Locked Out Until | |
| Username | The name the user will log in under. |
| Password | A place holder for the user's password. No one is allowed to see the user's password; however, user admins can reset a user's password. |
| Hint | A question the user has chosen. If a user has forgotten their password they can answer their hint and their password will be sent to their email address. |
| Answer | The answer to the hint. |
| First Name | User's first name. |
| Middle Initial | User's first name. |
| Last Name | User's last name. |
| Address | User's address. |
| Address 2 | An additional row for the user's address. |
| City | User's city. |
| State | User's state. |
| Zip | User's zip code. |
| Phone | User's phone number. |
| Fax | User's fax number. |
| Email | User's email address. |

Adding a new user
To add a new user click on the icon of a blank piece of paper at the top of the list. Enter information in the fields provided. Refer to the table above as to what each field means. Username, password, and state are all required fields, the others are either multiple choice or optional. When done click the submit button at the botton of the form.
Editing a User
To edit a user click on the pencil icon next to their name. This will bring up a page allowing you to edit the user's information. Click submit at the bottom to save the changes.
Setting up printers for Terminals
How to setup a printer for the terminal properly: <br>
Open BOW on the POS driver
Check the device number of the printer you want to setup properly
Go to the terminal that the printer is connected to
Open a file named AUXDEVN.IBM
Type the device number of the printer that you got from BOX
Immediate system change on POS driver
Kill and restart POSITERM.EXE on the terminal
